The first one is Ms Millers blog and it is for a bradford high school english class. the sites motto is " We read, we think, we discuss... we post." and that say it all. the site is wonderful for leting students post there ideas in an open forum and discuss classroom topics outside of the classroom. these site seems to have manditory posts for homewok assignments which to me is a much more effective way to assign homework and grade it.
the second blogs address is href="http://blogs.msdn.com/alfredth/">computer science class. this blog is by a computer science teacher that uses the mantra Know Thy Students, For They Are Not You as the basis for his blog. he drives home the point that one should get to know there students in order to best formulate a lesson plan for them to have the best learning environment.His other point is the normal, students and teachers alike should use the Internet and its tools more effectively and more frequently.
